EXPOSURE: Full Sun - Part Shade
GENERAL HABIT: Herbaceous perennial emerging
from a tuber. Plant grows to 15” high with flowering
stems reaching 24" x 30” wide.
FOLIAGE: Linear, grass-like foliage that emerge pink
and mature to a bright yellow that's intensified if grown
in full sun. Foliage takes on more of a chartreuse color
when grown in shade.
FLOWER: May/June/July. Vivid blue-violet blooms
formed in terminal clusters.
COMMENTS:
An easy to grow perennial that stands out in the
landscape! Following the first flush of blooms. Cut back
entire plant to the ground and continue to water and
fertilize for a second flush of bright yellow foliage and
a possible second flush of blooms!
