EXPOSURE: Part Sun- Shade.
GENERAL HABIT: Herbaceous perennial emerging from
fleshy, spreading rhizomes. This species can grow 24-30”
high and can spread several meters.
FOLIAGE & STEM: Palmately lobed, peltate foliage atop
succulent, hollow stems. Leaves can reach 24" in width.
FLOWER: Emerges before foliage in late winter/early
spring. 10-20 cm tall.
COMMENTS:
A selection of the PNW native Coltsfoot discovered by
plantsman, Chuck Pavlich. Has the best and brightest gold
color in full sun, but requires constant moisture.
