SOIL: Lean, sandy, and well drained.
EXPOSURE: Full Sun
GENERAL HABIT:
Robust clump forming ornamental grass 4' high and 3' wide.
FOLIAGE:
Glaucous, steely grey-blue blades with a graceful arching habit
on mature clumps. Pale brown winter foliage.
FLOWER: Plumes form in late summer into fall.
COMMENTS:
A striking new selection of Bitter Switchgrass. Wonderful as a
specimen or interplanted amongst perennials and shrubs.
Wonderful combined with purple-leafed Barberry (Berberis
thunbergii)
