GENERAL HABIT:
Flowering bulb. 6-10 inches in height.
FOLIAGE:
Strap like, narrow, fleshy green foliage with bronze as it
emerge in early spring.
FLOWER:
Golden-yellow, tubular florets with upper row of purple
florets. Uniquely scented reminiscent of
laundry/dishwashing detergent. April-May bloom time.
COMMENTS:
Flowered beautifully in somewhat dry shade has returned
for a second year and awaiting blooms this year (2009)
