GENERAL HABIT:
Hardy bulb. Flowering stems rises 4-7ft.
FOLIAGE:
Broadly narrow deep green. Young foliage emerges deep
purple.
FLOWER:
Primarily blooming in July, secondary buds open in
August. 6-8 inch, slightly down-facing blooms are pure
white with deep crimson-pink centers. Exceedingly
fragrant.
COMMENTS:
Considered to be one of the most fragrant lilies ever
produced, this cultivar is thought to be identical to a
cultivar bred in Canada called 'Northen Carillon'. Hardy
and a dependable cultivar. It is striking planted in a
perennial border.
