Lilium 'Rosepoint Lace' (Strain) (Asiatic Hybrid)
Liliaceae
ORIGIN: Garden Origin. Bred and introduced by
Columbia-Platte Lilies.
USDA PLANT HARDINESS ZONE: 5-8
SOIL: Moderately Moist/Well Drained
EXPOSURE: Full Sun - Part Shade
GENERAL HABIT: Hardy bulb. Mature stems reach 2-
5ft. in height.
FOLIAGE: Narrow, pale forest green and somewhat
glabrous foliage.
FLOWER: June-July bloom. Out to slightly down-
facing "turk's cap" flowers of beige to pale pink with
random purple spots and marble streaks. Gently fragrant.
COMMENTS:
A wonderful hybrid with L. lankongense in its
background that gives it its form, color pattern, and
gentle fragrance. Bulbs are naturally smaller than most
modern hybrids. While most clones of this strain are
very similar in appearance, there is quite a variation in
the amount of pink, spotting pattern, and plant height.
Plant in rich, well drained soil for best performance and
flowering.
