COMMENTS:
An outstanding shade plant ever bit as reliable as the
common green-leafed Bleeding Heart. While most
commonly known as Dicentra spectabilis, botanist have
reclassified this plant as its own genus, Lamprocapnos.
Thrives in moist, organic soils, but can also withstand
moderately dry shade. Somewhat of a spring ephemeral, it
may go dormant during the warm summer months and
return the following spring.
