SOIL: Rich, well drained. Moderately moist

EXPOSURE: Full Sun

GENERAL HABIT: Grows 3-4ft. high and about 2-3
feet wide.

FOLIAGE: Deep purple bronze.

FLOWER: Single, bright red flowers 3-4 inches wide
with deep yellow stamens on fully open flowers.
Begins flowering in the Pacific Northwest in late July.

COMMENTS:
Highly sought after for it's dramatic, dark purple
foliage and prolific bloom. Hardy in the Puget Sound
region with protective mulch over the winter.
