ORIGIN: Garden Origin. Sport of B. macrophylla
'Langtrees' introduced by Walter's Garden.

USDA PLANT HARDINESS ZONE: 3-8

SOIL: Moderately Moist/Well Drained

EXPOSURE: Part-Full Shade, Filtered Light

GENERAL HABIT: Hardy, clump forming, herbaceous
perennial 12"+ high and about 24-38" wide.

FOLIAGE: Large, chordate, frosty silver foliage with
net-like dark green veination. Entire plant is roughly
pubescent

FLOWER: Clusters of baby blue flowers borne on a dense
raceme and appears in early spring. Inflorescences often
appear before the flush of foliage that remains intact
throughout the season.

COMMENTS:
One of the most outstanding perennial introductions every
introduced, it is widely utilized in the landscape and in
container plantings and thrives in a wide variety of
conditions. Filtered light, ample water, and rich organic
soil produces the larges leaves
